Ross County introduce new season ticket packages
With the fixtures for the 2015/16 just announced, offering up some mouthwatering home ties, Ross County supporters are being urged to renew their season tickets by Tuesday (30th June) to secure their seats.
Anyone renewing their season tickets after that date will not be guaranteed the seats they occupied during the 2014/15 season as they will be released for general sale.
To make it easier for those who work during standard office hours, the club has announced it will operate extended opening hours over the next two weeks. It will remain open between 9am and 8pm on weekdays and will additionally open between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 27th June and Saturday 4th July.
With the deadline to renew looming, club chairman, Roy MacGregor, had some welcome news for supporters, announcing that prices would be frozen for the 2015/16 season and that more attractively priced tickets for over-75s, under-18s and under-12s had been introduced.
“For Ross County Football Club this season will be all about trying to reinvent ourselves and bring the club and the supporters back closer together,” said MacGregor. “We are trying to understand what the fans want and reach out to them and be more responsive.
“As part of that we looked long and hard at whether we could bring the price of a season ticket down for the new season but realised it is really difficult because if we reduce the prices by too much it will directly effect the product on the park on a Saturday,” added MacGregor.
“So we have kept standard season ticket prices the same as they were last season which we do think is a competitive price compared to other Scottish Premiership clubs.
“Where we have been able to offer some significant savings is for our younger and older supporters who may struggle more than most to afford to come along every Saturday,
“We have introduced an under-12s season ticket for £25 which includes a free replica top from the club shop and, where previously we offered a 12 to 16 years of age season ticket and a more expensive 16-18 years ticket, we felt this was unfair on teenagers who were still at school or not yet in full-time employment, so both these tickets have been replaced by the under-18 season ticket.
“We have also introduced an over-75s season ticket which is half the price of an OAP season ticket and offers excellent value to our older fans,” said MacGregor.
County have also announced that the old paper book-style season ticket will be replaced with a state-of-the-art credit card-style smart card for the 2015/16 season.
In addition to the standard season tickets available, supporters are being invited to upgrade their season ticket with two great options being introduced.
Hamilton Lounge Membership will cost an additional £120 per season and entitles holders to entry to the Hamilton Lounge at half-time to enjoy refreshments, including tea, coffee, hot pies and sandwiches.
The second option, the Monarch Plan, is a new form of membership for the 2015/16 season which sees supporters enjoy all the benefits enjoyed by a standard season ticket holder and much more, including a free 2015 home, away or goalkeeper replica shirt, exclusive Q&A evening with the management team, exclusive pre-sale period for high demand matches and a season-long 15 per cent discount in the club shop.
The Monarch Plan costs just £60 on top of a standard season ticket.
Supporters who are renewing their season tickets are also being invited to register for the Staggie Lotto. For just £1 a week, participants have the chance of winning weekly cash prizes of up to £10,000.
“The lottery plays a very important part in funding our work with the youth players who are the future of the club,” said Mr MacGregor.
“The new Staggie Lotto format ensures there will be more winners, bigger, better prizes and the chance to win items and activities supporters will really value.
“The club really appreciates the support of everyone who takes part in the lottery, whether they sign up by standing order or have the occasional flutter.”
