Brora Rangers bring back former midfielder as they beat Deveronvale to reach Highland League Cup final
Brora Rangers have confirmed midfielder Martin Maclean has rejoined the club on a temporary deal.
MacLean left the club last season after a trophy laden 12 years at the club and captained Brora for his testimonial in Stornoway in July.
However, he has come back to the Cattachs to join them in the final few weeks of the Highland League campaign.
McLean was in the Brora Rangers squad yesterday as they defeated Deveronvale 3-1 in Banff to reach the Highland League Cup final.
Shane Sutherland gave Brora Rangers the lead after 13 minutes to give themselves a 1-0 lead at the break.
Deveronvale fought back midway through the second half with Garry Wood levelling the score at 1-1.

But Craig Mackenzie regained the lead for Brora Rangers two minutes from time Sutherland got his second in injury time to send them into the final.
Brora Rangers will face Fraserburgh in the final after they beat Banks O’Dee 2-0 in the semi final. The date and venue of the final will be announced in due course.
Brora Rangers are on course for a Highland treble, having won the North of Scotland Cup in October and are currently top of the Highland League.
