Golspie based Highland League secretary Rod Houston appointed to Scottish football reconstruction group
Highland League secretary Rod Houston is one of 15 people appointed to look at the reconstruction of the Scottish football league next season.
The Golspie man will be part of the group who will meet on Monday at 4pm to discuss how the Scottish leagues can be reconstructed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Wednesday, all four divisions voted to end the season for the Championship, League One and League Two, declaring the league leaders in each division, Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers champions.
It also resulted in scrapping the play-offs this season, currently denying Highland League champions Brora Rangers and Lowland League champions Kelty Hearts the chance of promotion to League Two.
But the SPFL have committed to holding league reconstruction talks which could see both Brora and Kelty promoted as well as an extended Premiership.
