Highland League outfit Brora Rangers confirm departure of player/assistant manager Josh Meekings from Dudgeon Park
Brora Rangers have confirmed the departure of Josh Meekings.
The 31-year-old had been player/assistant manager at Dudgeon Park under Ally Macdonald since February 2023, having returned to the Highlands in 2021 and joining the coaching staff in September that year under Craig Campbell.
In his time with Brora, the club would win the Highland League Cup twice – in 2022 and 2024 – and the North of Scotland Cup in the 2022/23 season.
Returning Cattachs boss Steven Mackay recently unveiled his new-look coaching team, with Meekings conspicuous by his absence.
A club statement read: “Josh first arrived as a player but has progressed through is coaching badges here and stepped up to assistant manager.
“He joined under current manager Steven Mackay and successfully added to his trophy haul by winning the Highland League Cup twice and North of Scotland Cup once.
“Everyone at the club wishes Josh all the best for his future career.”
