FIVE young ambassadors have been appointed in Dornoch to meet and greet visitors over the summer.

In their bright yellow tops the ambassadors will be easy to see and offer a personal touch to enhance the visitor experience, by providing information about and guiding them to local attractions, shops, eating places and accommodation.

The ambassadors are Lucy Wright, Shannon Skinner, Breagha Hayes, Scarlet Dewick and Anna Simpson.

They will have the new Discover Dornoch App with them and free maps to hand out, helping the visitors to make the most of their holiday.

The appointments, made by the Dornoch Area Community Interest Company (DACIC) are building on the improved signposting introduced last year, and thanks to the continued support of the Coastal Communities Fund.
