Woodland Trust Scotland announced today that it had taken the decision to close its car park at Ledmore and Migdale Wood, near Spinningdale.

However, the organisation said that the wood remained open for local residents to take their daily exercise.

A spokesman said: "In line with Government advice, we are asking that people do not drive to the site from a wider area.

"We will review advice and open the car park again as soon as it is safe to do so."
