Well known rail writer to join passengers on Tain to Dunrobin steam journey
Well known train fanatic and writer Julian Holland is to travel on the steam train making the journey from Tain to Dunrobin on May 12.
As a bonus for local people, operators Steam Dreams are allowing non-tour passengers on board The Cathedral Express, to experience the trip from Tain to Dunrobin, either as a single or return trip.
Mr Holland has recently published a book on the 150 best one day trips by rail - and Inverness to Dunrobin is there at number 150!
He will be signing copies of the book on the train and at Dunrobin Station and is happy to chat to passengers.
