UPDATE: Missing West Yorkshire man Ashley Blacker found safe and well after police alert in the Highlands

A man reported missing on Monday has been found safe and well following a police alert across the Highlands.

Ashley Blacker (29) was from the West Yorkshire area, but was thought to have travelled to the Inverness and Ullapool areas.

Police issued appeals to the public for information in their efforts to trace him following information that he might have travelled to Ardmair, near Ullapool.

A police spokesman said this morning: “Mr Blacker was traced safe and well last night.”
