The trading board is responsible for directing the trading activities of the organisation and is made up of four directors from the main board and five independent directors who have commercial experience.

Mr Button has an extensive background in commercial banking and the finance sector and considerable experience in organisational strategy and development.

He said: “As a relatively new person to the area, I hope I will be able to help make life better for the people who live in the Highlands and the many visitors.”

Ms Graham brings with her management and leadership skills, having previously worked as operations director for Whitbread PLC.

She said:”Having worked with PLCs, I understand the balance between financial sustainability and delivering meaningful community impact and look forward to working with my fellow board members.”
