People living in Helmsdale, Brora, or Golspie who have an interest in radio or who would like to gain a new experience and share their skills, are being asked to attend a meeting in Brora on Tuesday, December 10, to discuss the project.

Community digital radio stations typically cover a small geographical area and are run by volunteers on a not-for-profit basis.

Three local development trusts have joined forces to launch the initiative - Go Golspie Development Trust, Helmsdale and District Development Trust and Brora Development Trust.

The meeting will be held at Brora Village Hub from 5.30pm-6.30pm.
