TAIN dancers took home over 20 podium wins from a recent competition in Dundee, where they danced in a variety of sections.

Trumble Cheer and Dance (TCD) Tain recently attended the Steve Walls Classic Cheer and Dance Competition at Caird Hall in Dundee. The dancers competed in all sections, including: cheer, pom, jazz, lyrical and street dance.

TCD principal, Jan Trumble said: “We had a fabulous and busy day from 8am to 7.30pm, with our youngest dancer Alvie (4) at her first big competition.

“They competed in team, solo and duo categories against much bigger schools but our dancers held their own and came home with lots of banners.

“Thanks must go to our fantastic teachers Steffi and Millie (and also the boss Jan) who spend hours coaching these kids and spent all day at competitions with them — also the amazing parents for their support (and snacks!).”

In March the team will head off to Edinburgh for an “even bigger” two-day event.
