Sutherland medical practice ‘incredibly disappointed’ by theft of full tank of oil

A tank full of heating oil has been stolen from a medical practice in Sutherland.

The theft took place at the Brora and Helmsdale Medical Practice’s Helmsdale surgery in Rockview Place.

The practice has contacted police and informed local people of the theft in a post on the Helmsdale, Land of The Helmies Facebook site on Tuesday.

They said: “We are incredibly disappointed to report that a whole tank of heating oil has been stolen from the Helmsdale surgery.

“Police Scotland have been informed and will be making enquiries. If anyone saw anything suspicious over the last few days, please let the surgery know and we will forward the information on to Police Scotland.”
