Speed Shear competitions are the ultimate test of speed, skill, and accuracy in sheep shearing. Competitors will race against the clock to shear a hogg in the shortest time possible, all while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and fleece quality.

Each shearer must quickly and skillfully remove the fleece, ensuring a smooth and safe finish without leaving any long fibres. The timer begins with the first cut and ends with the last.
