Road closed at Beauly

Police and Ambulance are currently dealing with a one vehicle road traffic collision on the A862 at Teawig, Beauly which happened at about 12.10pm today.

As a result of the incident a power line has been taken down and the road is now closed between the Lovat Bridge junction with the A831 and Beauly railway station whilst the area is made safe.

It is estimated that the road will remain closed for the next three to five hours.

A diversion is in place via the A831 and unclassified Wester Balblair road through to Beauly town centre.

Access to the railway station from Beauly Town centre is not affected.
