Local people are being given an opportunity to look round a historic Dornoch property which has undergone a year-long renovation.
An open day for members of the public is being held at Cathedral House, formerly known as Trevose and located next to Dornoch Cathedral in the centre of the town, on November 15. Guided tours will be given.
Dating back to the 1820s, the stone built property has served as a dental surgery and more recently a guesthouse.
It is now in the hands of family-run firm The Hollies Retreats, part of the HFS group which offers multiple brands in hospitality, food retail, hotel and accommodations.
The firm also offers other luxury accommodation in Cheshire, the Cairngorms and Barbados. Cathedral House is available as self-catered accommodation.
The four-bedroomed property has been sympathetically restored with a new air source heating system, double glazed windows, a luxury kitchen and several luxury bathrooms.
The Hollies Retreats' staff will be hosting the open day and guests will be welcomed with refreshments.
HFS Highland Ltd company director Phil Cowap said: “We are excited to open our doors after a year of renovating and transforming the property to what it is today.
“This open day is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Dornoch to fully immerse themselves in the newly transformed Cathedral House.
"The event is also a chance for the community to learn about its history with a guided tour of the property."
