PICTURES: Businesses and groups show their festive flair with trees made from medical gloves, blister packs, recycled ties and marshmallows for Dornoch Cathedral’s ‘No Tree Christmas Tree’ display
Businesses and other organisations in East Sutherland have risen to the challenge of creating a ‘no tree Christmas tree’.
A total of 21 trees have been created for the No Tree Christmas tree display, held in Dornoch Cathedral every two years as part of its festive celebrations.
They range from a tree made from used blister medicine packs by Dornoch Medical Centre to one made from marshmallows by Thistle Bakes.
The trees are on display until a week from today - Friday, December 20 - and the cathedral is open daily until 6pm.
