Air passengers were hit by yet another delayed flight at Inverness Airport this morning.

Loganair's flight to Manchester was due to leave at 6.40am but is now expected to be three hours late resulting in some passengers missing connecting flights to other destinations.

It follows recent disruption to air passengers travelling to and from the Highlands on various airlines including easyJet, prompting some to question the reliability of air services.

The Scottish Affairs Committee has written to airlines and Scottish airports including Inverness raising its concerns with delays to, and cancellations of, flights between Scotland and London.
