New members welcome at Dornoch Cinema Club
Managers of Dornoch Cinema Club are keen to attract new members, writes Judith Sutherland.
This sociable cinema club reopened after the Covid pandemic to an expanded membership who have faithfully attended to enjoy a wide range of films in the company of friends.
The club committee aims to provide a cross section of films from drama, comedy, thrillers, romances and mysteries and are very open to suggestions from the membership.
Refreshments and a raffle are on offer with subtitles for each film and an extensive lending library. Members are welcome to bring their own refreshments to share and enjoy a good evening out.
Membership is only £25.00 per annum and films are screened monthly. Members can bring guests along on four occasions.
A spokesperson for the club said: “The club not only provides access to a curated selection of films but also fosters a sense of community and shared passion for cinema. The club offers something for everyone.”
