Missing 15-year-old girl found safe in Inverness

Police today found a 15-year-old girl, who had been missing since Friday, safe and well.

Chantelle MacKay was last seen in the Scorguie area of Inverness and officers became concerned when she did not turn up over the weekend.

However, she was found in the city this morning. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

Police thanked the public and media for helping the inquiry.
