A 27 year old man from Wick has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal following the recovery of £22,000 of class A and B drugs yesterday in the Tain and Wick areas.

Local Area Inspector for North Highland, N division, Jamie Wilson said: "As we know, illegal drugs can have a devastating impact on individuals but also their families and wider communities through associated criminality and antisocial behaviour.

“Make no mistake, officers across N division will continue working closely with specialist officers, partners and communities themselves, to secure information and target those cruel individuals and groups who profit from the sale or distribution of illegal drugs."

Anyone with concerns in relation to drugs can contact the police on 101.
