The senior class at Durness Primary School gave a concert for parents and the rest of the school at the start of April, 2005.

Sheila Cunningham from Scourie worked with the children in the run-up to the concert as part of Feis Chataibh’s efforts to promote traditional Scottish music in schools.

The children reached a high standard in a short time and were able to perform four fairly complicated pieces - Fairy Lullaby, Amazing Grace, the Skye Boat Song and Teann a-Nall.
