Investigations after two boats collide in Wick harbour

Investigations are being carried out following a collision between two boats in Wick harbour on Thursday morning.

No-one was injured in the incident. It is understood that one of the vessels was stationary at the time.

Harbour master Ian Cormack said: “Wick Harbour Authority can confirm that there was a collision between two vessels in the harbour yesterday [Thursday] morning, one of which suffered damage which has yet to be assessed.

“Thankfully there were no injuries and investigations are ongoing as to the cause of the collision.”
