Highland Pride confirm June date in Inverness for annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community
Highland Pride have confirmed the date for this year’s parade and party in Inverness.
The celebration of the LGBTQ+ community will take place on Saturday, June 7 in the Highland capital.
This year marks 30 years since the first Pride parade in Scotland, and accordingly Highland Pride say they are “coming back bolder than ever” to build on the success of previous events after listening to attendee feedback.

That followed a march to Northern Meeting Park in 2023, where various acts provided entertainment in a single hub, but with the multi-million pound renovation works that was not an option last year.
Highland Pride began as Proud Ness in 2018, where it is estimated over 10,000 people showed their love and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
It would return in 2019 before being paused for a few years as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
