Golspie High School pupils in enterprising maths challenge

GOLSPIE High School pupils took part in the Highland heats of the Enterprising Maths Challenge in Millburn Academy, Inverness, yesterday.

The team of Alec Everard and Catriona Marshal, both S3, and Nia Newman and Katy Paterson, both S4, did very well against stiff competition from 13 Highland schools in this annual competition.

They just failed to qualify for the national finals Ardnamurchan, Millburn, Dingwall and Charleston schools go through and will compete against the top private and state schools in Scotland at Glasgow Science Centre in November.

The Golspie team were very well behaved and were complimented on their uniform by the organisers.
