Highland climate activists are aiming to get their message to more people.
Extinction Rebellion Highlands and Islands and Moray has been busy with protest actions over the last couple of years.
The climate change and environmental campaign group is touring locations in Inverness and the surrounding area this month with discussion events.
The group’s tour has already included Poolewe, Ullapool and Merkinch in Inverness. The next leg, during the second half of March, includes Drumnadrochit tomorrow, Smithton on Monday, Fortrose on March 28 and Inverness’s Spectrum Centre on March 29.

A group spokesman said: “The ‘bad news’ is a simple summary of how and why it’s urgent to act to prevent climate and environmental disaster. But then the ‘good news’ is exactly how we are starting to make real headway on influencing the drivers of these processes.
“With a bigger section of the community on board, we will be more able to make the real, large-scale changes we need to halt the growing crisis.”
Ruth Dunster, from Extinction Rebellion, said: “I remember how daunting it first seemed to me to go to a meeting of a group which runs protest marches and actions.
“I expected a crowd of unusual people, to put it politely. But when a friend offered to go with me, I couldn’t believe the warm welcome I got from such a wide variety of ordinary people like me.
“If they’re unusual, it’s in that they care about the planet, each other, and keeping themselves emotionally healthy in the work of trying to get some positive influence.”
