Crew shortages have sparked the cancellation of four train services in the north today (Thursday, April 17).

The 4.22pm Inverness to Elgin and 6.02pm Elgin to Inverness are cancelled.

And the 9.29pm Inverness to Tain and 10.45pm Tain to Inverness trains are also not running this evening.

The disrupted trains were the only cancellations reported across the entire ScotRail network at the time of writing on Thursday morning.
