Clubs join forces again for vintage and classic rally at John O’Groats
The annual vintage and classic car rally at John O’Groats will be enhanced by a collaboration between two like-minded community groups for the second year in a row.
The long-running event is run by members of Caithness and Sutherland Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club (CSVCVC). They will again be joined by their counterparts from Caithness Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club who will show agricultural exhibits alongside the usual range of vintage, historic and classic cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and other machines.
The 2025 rally is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, at the John O’Groats show field, from 10.30am to 4.30pm. The main sponsor is GMR Henderson.
Entry forms will be available from rally secretary Ellen Simpson (ellensimpson54@outlook.com) with a closing date of May 21.
CSVCVC chairman James Green said the two clubs were delighted to be reuniting.
“Caithness and Sutherland Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club and Caithness Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club are joining forces once again for the annual rally in John O’Groats on June 8,” he said.
“We at CSVCVC are delighted to welcome back the tractor and machinery club to this much-anticipated event and look forward to a fantastic display of vintage and classic motoring and agricultural machines, along with the enthusiasm and community spirit that brings it all together on the day.
“Here’s to another great rally ahead.”
