Police have launched an appeal for information after a house suffered damage in a residential area in Brora.

Officers were called after a window had been “inadvertently” broken by a ball bearing shot from a slingshot or catapult on Monday, around midday.

“The damage does not appear intentional however police would like to remind the public of the danger of firing such items in a residential area, both to property and of risk of severe injury to the general public.

“If you have any information which may assist in tracing those responsible, please call 101 quoting CR/115976/25.”
