Body found at Achmelvich beach
Police Scotland has said that the body of a man was discovered at Achmelvich beach near Lochinver yesterday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 3.30pm on Tuesday, February 6, the body of a man was discovered at a beach at Achmelvich, near Lochinver.
"Formal identification has yet to take place. However, the family of a man reported missing from a yacht that left Ullapool on Wednesday, December 13, have been informed.
"There are no apparent suspicious circumstances."
Russian sailor Roman Titov was reported missing after setting out from Ullapool harbour on December 13.
