BBC and ITV star Adrian Chiles set to deliver keynote address at the Highland Business Dinner 2025 organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce
BBC and ITV host Adrian Chiles is set to deliver the keynote address at the Highland Business Dinner 2025.
Organised by the Inverness Chamber of Commerce, the event will see the TV and radio presenter take to the stage at the Drumossie Hotel on Friday, May 16.
Best known for hosting Working Lunch, Match of the Day 2, The One Show, The Apprentice: You’re Fired and BBC Radio 5 Live, Adrian has built a distinguished career across news, sport, and business journalism.
His extensive experience covering major sporting events and economic affairs, as well as his sharp wit and engaging style, promise an insightful and entertaining evening for guests.
Speaking ahead of the event, Adrian said: “I’m really looking forward to speaking at the Highland Business Dinner.
“I make it my business to get around the country as much as possible but I’ve spent nowhere near as much time as I’d have liked in the Highlands.
“Having started out as a business journalist, I’m always keen to find out about the opportunities and challenges of doing business in different areas. Particularly interesting will be the work underway contributing to the renewables revolution.
“I’ve met enough Highlanders in my time to appreciate that there is a pretty distinctive entrepreneurial spirit and I’m looking forward to drinking deeply of it! The culture, the sport, the food and the drink - I can’t wait to get a taste of it all.”

The Highland Business Dinner is a networking event, bringing together business leaders from across the Highlands to celebrate success, showcase the work of local businesses, foster connections, and spark ideas that drive the region’s success.
Tickets for the Highland Business Dinner 2025 are on sale now. The 2024 event sold out, so early booking is advised. Chamber members will have priority for booking until Friday, March 28. After this date booking will open to non-members.
