Art gallery in a bus to visit Helmsdale
Travelling Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in a bus, is set to visit Helmsdale for three days from tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19.
The bus is showcasing an art exhibition To Avoid Falling Apart by Emmie McLuskey and Janice Parker.
A spokesperson said: “This two-person art exhibition explores the human capacity for connection and interdependence through movement, language and film.”
Its Helmsdale stop-off has been made in partnership with the port’s Timespan Heritage and Art Institution.
The Travelling Gallery will be parked at Helmsdale Harbour tomorrow and Friday and will be open from 10am to 4pm. All are invited to view the exhibition.
On Thursday, it will be at Helmsdale Primary School for school visits only.
After visiting Helmsdale, Travelling Gallery will continue its tour with visits to Thurso, Orkney and Perth and Kinross.
