Acclaimed folk singer Edwina Hayes to perform at Golspie venue

Acclaimed folk singer and songwriter Edwina Hayes is set to perform at MacGregors at The Ben, Golspie, on Saturday, February 4.

Irish born Edwina sprang to fame after her cover of the Randy Newman song Feels Like Home was featured in the Cameron Diaz film My Sister's Keeper.

It has since had over 10 million plays on Spotify and more than 30 million on YouTube.

Edwina has toured with notable performers such as Jools Holland, Van Morrison, Nanci Griffith and Loudon Wainwright III.

A spokesman for MacGregors at the Ben said: "It's brilliant to welcome her to the Ben. She is one of the funniest and most engaging personalities on stage."

The event is scheduled to run from 8pm-10.30pm and tickets can be purchased via tickettailor.com
