Accident on the A9 near Ousdale broch





One lane has reopened on the A9 between Helmsdale and Berriedale following an accident involving two cars earlier this afternoon.

A police spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two cars on the A9 near Ousdale broch around 1.30pm on Monday, November 22.

"Emergency services have attended at the scene. One lane has since reopened and recovery has been arranged for the vehicles."

The Traffic Scotland website was advising road users to approach with caution.
