A9 restricted in Caithness at Berriedale north of Helmsdale

The A9 is currently restricted in both directions after a road traffic incident north of Helmsdale.

According to Traffic Scotland’s website this follows an incident at Barriedale at around 6.20pm.

Road users are advised to be careful when approaching and allow extra time for their journey.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
