MACKAY (Helmsdale). Sadly, but peacefully, after a long illness, at Innis Mhor Care Home, Tain, on Thursday, 16th January, 2025, Edward Mackay, of Strathyre, Helmsdale. Loving husband for 68 years of Betty (nee Sutherland), proud father of Eddie and Allan, dear grandad of Scott, Euan, Gordon, Liam and Yvonne and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will take place at the Bunillidh Church of Scotland, Helmsdale today (Friday), 24th January, 2025 at 11.45am; thereafter to Helmsdale Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, may be given in lieu at the church door in aid of Dementia Scotland and Innis Mhor Care Home, Tain.
